To this day, the reasons why Brits started calling French people ‘Frogs’ remains a little bit of a mystery. Did it originate from a derogatory term first used by the French nobility for revolutionaries? A misconstrued historic flag? Or even an allusion to frogs’ legs - that most French of delicacies? In any case, the term has stuck, and we have chosen to wear it with pride.

After all, we like nothing better than to delve into the intricacies of the French language and culture to deliver content that's perfectly localized for your target audience.

About me
Born and raised in the French Alps, I first came to live in the UK at the end of the last century and liked it so much I never went back! My passion is to help individuals and companies to communicate effectively in another language with their target audience.

I founded Frogology in 2002 to offer high-quality translation, editing and localisation services. During these two decades, the business has helped countless organisations, big and small, to expand by finding and retaining new clients abroad.
